Webtimeclock was launched in 2003 as one of the first web-based employee time clock systems. Unlike most stories you read about, we didn't start to solve a dilemma with our own business.
At the beginning we were a time and attendance reseller. We would sell to and advise small businesses on how to track their employee hours for payroll. We represented several top brands who offered time clock machines and PC based time clock software.
Instead of installing software on a PC, we believed the internet was a better way of delivering applications. At the time, we knew it would solve the pain of networking multiple locations.
So, that’s why we built it. Not to change the world, just offer a better service.
Since then things have continually changed. And this is what we have learned. People love our software because it's simple. And people want all-in-one software. It makes total sense. Juggling multiple services, with multiple logins can be a real pain.
As such, our newest release brings everything together. With version 4, we offer optional full-service payroll. That, along with features such as file sharing and internal messaging, makes Webtimeclock a true all-in-one platform.
